Hotel Lucy Getaway
My husband and I just celebrated our 16th anniversary with a mini-vacay to Granbury, TX. We stayed at the gorgeous Hotel Lucy!

There is an adorable antique mall right next to Hotel Lucy, and of course it was our first stop after we got settled in. Granbury’s famous Square was also within walking distance of our room. The Square is filled with cute shops and delicious restaurants.

Recommended Restaurants: Christina’s, 1890 Grille & Lounge, Paradise Bistro & Coffee Co.
We cannot recommend Christina’s enough! It was one of the best meals we have ever eaten…no joke! We ordered the cheese board (get ready for some spice!) and the Tomato Basil soup (the best ever!). We will be back for a day trip soon.
Back to Hotel Lucy…Each room at Hotel Lucy has a unique theme. We stayed in “Hey Sugar” which was decorated with girly pinks and golds. (Don’t worry! I okayed it with my husband first.) Everything about the room is plush and high-end. The bed and linens were super comfy, the bathroom had a stand-alone shower, and a gigantic bath tub complete with a complimentary bath bomb. I was blown away by the attention to detail!
The lighting looked custom and there were antique double doors leading into the bathroom. Our window overlooked Granbury lake & beach.
When we weren’t shopping or eating, we were hanging out at the pool, or watching the Mav’s game in our room.
Side note: Hotel Lucy is an adult hotel, so you don’t have to worry about crying babies, or pee in the pool. It really is a quiet escape!
Instead of having a mini-fridge in your room, Hotel Lucy offers a huge common area. There is a gigantic refrigerator, a chef’s kitchen, Happy Hour bar, and dining room. We put our leftovers in the shared fridge with no problem. Hotel Lucy also provided breakfast breads, little donuts, and coffee each morning.
We highly recommend Hotel Lucy and will be back someday!
